Milectria Oy has trained all cable harness and wire harness assemblers with IPC/WHMA-A-620 Revision D and everyone succesfully passed the certification exam.

The IPC/WHMA-A-620 standard prescribes practices and requirements for the manufacture of cable, wire and harness assemblies. The standard describes materials, methods, tests and acceptability criteria for producing crimped, mechanically secured and soldered interconnections, and the related assembly activities (corresponding lacing/restraining criteria) associated with cable and harness assemblies. Any method that produces an assembly conforming to the acceptability requirements described in this standard may be used.

The IPC/WHMA-A-620 standard sets expectations between manufacturers and their customers for what is considered acceptable quality workmanship for cables and harnesses.

The IPC/WHMA-A-620 Revision D provides the electronics industry with the most current criteria for the performance and acceptance of cable and wire harness assemblies.

This certification further strenghtens our competence as a trusted source of high quality cable- and wire harnesses.
